Bruna Abdullah is all set to get into the shoes of Bollywood beauty Dia Mirza. She is going to do a lengthy cameo in the movie ‘I hate love storesi’ which is beindg directed by Puneeth. A few days back, Puneeth nnarted the cameo role to Dia and she readily accepted this offer.
But suddenly she called Puneeth and said that she cannot feature in this film due to personnel reason suddenly the “ Khatron Ke Khiladi” fame Bruna Abdullah was caonted for this role. ‘London Dreams’ has no realistic approach

London Dreams’ which was much hyped for being a multi starrer has finally hit the screens. But the movie has nothing much to explain in some scenes which are terrible and far away from reality.
Movie is about two good friends from Punjab who are extremely different from each other. Ajay Devgan has a passion for music and ropes in his friend Salman in to his music band of ‘London Dreams’. Then sallu steals Ajay’s honor and girlfriends Asin with his extra activities.
The movie has its screen play so low propelling and some scenes are presented in such a dull way as if they were from 18 century Europeans play settings. The songs are just hitting the average tag and the movie may sink to the bottom within no time.
The beautiful frames and some Paisa vasool moments are egged into the movie and only two songs are a bit catchy with the music.

Recently, our Senior Bachchan saab had visited the Haji Ali dargah, then a temple, followed by a visit to a small dargah and finally to Siddhivinayak temple. Over this a mysterious person sent SMS to the actor on his mobile, threatening him not to do so here after. But Amitabh Bachchan is not a person to deter. On this, he blogged, “I am going to do it again, and shall continue to do it. And I want to see how you are going to stop me. If you have the courage and guts, come and get me.”
The “unknown element” even warned that Big B’s ‘Aladin’ will be a flop. While the actor wrote, “If the film has merit, no force on earth will be able to stop its worth. If the film is weak and does not have merit, no force on earth shall be able to make it a success.
At the cost of every film of mine failing, I am not going to change my routine.”
However, a day later the stranger seemed to have changed his way. He messaged Bachchan that the actor had misunderstood him and that he had no intention to hurt him or his sentiments. “He professed that after a visit to a dargah, it being a place of worship where those buried there were those that had passed away, there was an immediate need to take a bath to cleanse oneself before going to the temple,” the actor wrote about the stranger’s clarification.

The actress for the time being isn’t acting in the movie and only involved as a producer.

When I composed and wrote these songs for Doorie, I kept in mind that this album has to be commercial". Whilst the drama of lyrics & composition ownership continued in Pakistan, Bollywood director Mahesh Bhatt called Atif Aslam to seek his consent to include "Woh Lamhey" in the soundtrack of his new motion picture, Zeher (2005). The song (especially the remix version) became a hit & dominated airplay on almost all major FM stations throughout India for a period of 6-8 months. This pattern of a slow playback song by Atif in the movie, supplemented by a remix version released for radio airplay was to become standard procedure with Atif’s songs on the Indian market.He recorded a song for the movie Kalyug (2005), entitled Juda Hokey Bhi - a slight variation of the ever famous Aadat song. Like with “Wo Lamhey / Bheegi Yaadein”, a slow version became the theme for the movie and part of the official soundtrack, whilst a remixed version was released to hit the radio stations and desi clubs worldwide.After recording for Kalyug, an Irani director in Hollywood contacted Atif and within very little time, Atif recorded three songs for that same director’s Hollywood movie, Man Push Cart and was rewarded with a small cameo role in the movie.Atif re-emerged in the subcontinent with a new track, “Tere Bin” (translation: [Without You]) for the Bollywood Movie, Bas Ek Pal (2006). "Jal Pari"

Atif Aslam, after leaving Jal, released a new solo album, Jal Pari (meaning "Mermaid") which was a big hit. Other than Aadat, 'Dil Harey', 'Woh Lamhey', 'Yakeen' became favourites of Pakistani music fans. Though his songs were liked by many, his first solo music video of 'Mahi ve' did not received much praise. On the other hand Jal, with their album "Aadat" and hit music video "Woh Lamhay" emerged as one of the top bands of Pakistan. As both the Jal, “Aadat”, and Atif’s album, Jalpari, shared certain tracks (such as “Aadat”, “Wo Lamhey”, “Dil Harey”) an unofficial war over rights began which resulted in both sides claiming to possess hard proof to support their respective claims (that, they alone owned the concerned songs). The hype this feud gave to both Atif and the new Jal was extraordinary and split the musical nation with the fans of each side backing their respective favourite.

Aslam kept winning these competitions every semester until he announced that he would not participate in future competitions so that someone else could also win. He found Goher Mumtaz, a talented guitarist, at this time. Together, they started doing mini concerts for their friends. Atif used to primarily sing songs from Junoon and Strings song at these concerts. The size of the audiences kept on increasing. They performed concerts for their college, McDonalds and some other restaurants as well. Atif recorded the legendary song Aadat at Mekal Hassan’s Studio. Mekal injected his professionalism in the song to make it worth listening time after time. Atif formed the band and named the band as Jal, which means water, the essence of life. The song got popularity on the different musical websites on Pakistan. . The song was also played on such Pakistani radio stations as FM100 and FM105. The music video for Aadat was shot one day in a warehouse in Karachi. Soon it came out to be a super hit, topping the Pakistani music charts. On the base of this one song, “Jal” began their tour of Pakistan—such was the strength of “Aadat”. However, whilst on tour, personal problems led to a verbal bust-up resulting in an unannounced and indefinite hiatus, during which Atif launched his solo career.

The twist in the story comes when one day he was singing with his friends at the college canteen. His friends insisted him to participate in the singing on Independence Day celebrations at PAF College Lahore and Sargodha in 1998. He performed there and won the competition. After HSc, Atif Joined Punjab Institute of Computer Science Gulberg Campus. This time studies were much more demanding as compared to the previous ones. He was forced to sacrifice his time playing cricket in order to do well in school. However, his hobby of singing continued when he entered in the singing competition of his college, where there were a total of 8 participants. The media team entered Atif’s name in the competition at the eleventh hour and he won the competition singing a hit number of Pakistani band Strings' Duur.

Atif’s kindergarten started in Model town Lahore at Kimberley Hall School. His first stage manifestation was in a fancy dress show at his school when he was in grade 1 where he performed as Imran Khan, the former captain of Pakistan's national cricket team. Since then cricket was like a passion to him. He was never tired of playing cricket for hours in his car porch whether it is scorching sun outside or even raining. At that time he was not used to listen any kind of songs. At the age of 9 in 1991 he was shifted to Rawalpindi/Islamabad where he continued his studies in Saint Paul's School. He started playing Basketball and he use to lead his school team for various matches. Atif came back to Lahore in 1995 where he continued his studies in Divisional Public School Model Town. For his immense passion for cricket he was selected in his school team as a fast bowler. Atif cleared his 10th grade in 14 years of age with a distinctive edge that he has always been the youngest boy in the class because of his double promotions while he was in Kimberley Hall. Atif started his HSc in PAF College Lahore. He was in his college team as well where he presented his college in other cities. Beside his studies he was putting his maximum time in practicing for the professional cricket. During his college life he come across with some interest in music. He attended Punjab Institute of Computer Science (PICS) to do his Bachelors in Computer Science (BCS). Aslam's eldest brother owned a collection of more than 8,000 songs of almost all music genres, from which Atif absorbed a wide range of music at home. As a good learner he quickly grasped the control of voice, though at that time he was not interested in singing. Aslam's passion was still to enter the Pakistani cricket team as a fast bowler and he was right on track while practicing at the net at the Shapes Club Lahore where Imran Khan used to come and give tips to him for bowling.

NEW DELHI: Bollywood actor Shiney Ahuja arrived here from Mumbai Sunday morning after spending 110 days in jail for allegedly raping his domestic help. He was granted bail ThursdayThe actor, accompanied by his wife Anupam, arrived at the New Delhi domestic airport aboard a Kingfisher flight No.303 Sunday at about 11.30 a.m. Shiney’s parents were also there.“He left for Delhi by Kingfisher flight at around 7 a.m.. He will be coming back to Mumbai for the court hearing on Oct 7,” Shiney’s lawyer Shrikant Shivade told media.The actor was granted bail Thursday on a surety of Rs.50,000 by the Bombay High Court in the rape case and was released from the Arthur Road Jail Saturday.Strict conditions have been imposed on the actor by Justice A.P. Deshpande, who has ordered Shiney to live outside Mumbai, but not leave India till his trial begins in a fast-track court in Mumbai.Shiney was arrested June 14 for allegedly raping his teenaged domestic help at his Andheri (West) home. The opening for Blue on Friday morning was in the range of 50-60%, while All the Best was around 60-70% and MAMK last at 25-30%, though with volumes of screenings being higher for Blue means the opening day collections for the Akshay Kumar starrer were the highest of the films running. However the film’s cost and budget demanded a far bigger opening than what it has witnessed and given the reports are said to be mixed, it’s a wait-and-see situation for this action adventure venture.

Talking about his plan of the film, Himesh said, “I requested Ravi to go in for a very different release strategy as the film has been made for a target audience. The theatrical release will be in sync with the sensibilities with which Radio has been made. It has been treated with a very fresh approach and that’s what makes it very different or else, it’s a very simple love triangle set in 2009 with the backdrop of a radio station and an RJ as the protagonist.”

According to sources, the bubbly actress Preity Zinta has signed in to host a chat show named The Preity Zinta Show. The show will be aired weekly on television. For 20 episodes of the show, the actress has charged a whopping amount of Rs 10 crore. On the show you will find Preity interviewing celebrities. The show is supposed to go on air in mid-December.
One source said, “The show is called as The Preity Zinta Show and she has been paid a whopping amount of Rs 10 crore for 20 episodes. Now a day actress Urvashi Sharma is all excited about signing an international flick, but she tells that she is not comfortable with the nude scene which the script of the film demands. The film is titled as Bounty Hunter. No, it’s not the same film starring Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler. It’s a different project and is sponsored by the UK Film Council.
“I’m excited as I’m the only Indian girl in the film. I’m going to London this month to finalise things,” says Urvashi.
Her films till date didn’t create much hoopla, but the actress is looking forward to year 2010 with hope. Today she is free from the contract with the production house which was not allowing her to sign films from other banners. Meanwhile, there was buzz about her friction with the Aap Ke Liye Hum team. The director of the film Revathy Varmha was claming that Urvashi has thrown out from the film because of her bad behavior. However the actress says that she left the project when she got post-dated cheques that bounced.
Talking about the tiff Urvashi said, “I tried to contact the producer for two months after I found out the cheque has bounced, but I couldn’t get through. That’s highly unprofessional.”
Revathy also claimed that Urvashi is so hungry for publicity that she agreed to do a bikini act for the project. Clarifying it, the actress replied, “I’m not the one who leaked this information. I kept quiet about this issue for two months. In fact, it’s quite embarrassing for an actor to go through something like this.”
Then what about the nude scene for Bounty Hunter? “We need to figure out how it will be done or whether it needs to be done at all. I’m an Indian girl, and in the film I play an Indian girl with Indian values. I wouldn’t be comfortable doing a nude scene,” tells the actress.
Other than the international film, Urvashi will be next seen in Chai Garam alongside Sunil Shetty and Govinda. She is also doing a song which “is not an item number” for Priyadarshan’s yet to be titled film.

Bipasha Basu opted out at a last minute from a Diwali special show for a television channel, when she learnt that there is no other cine star making appearance on the show. She was supposed to perform on the Diwali special named Diwali Mela Dilon Ka to promote her upcoming film All the Best. Ajay Devgan, her co-star from All The Best and also the director Rohit Shetty were part of the program, but only Bipasha had to perform. So the actress ditched the show.
A source from channel said, “Everything was set for the Diwali special, scripts were ready and the sets were done too. And although she had agreed initially, Bipasha changed her mind in the end. She felt that an actress of her calibre was only meant for the silver screen, and TV was only for those who were insecure about their career in Bollywood.”
On the other hand, Bips says, “I have never heard about this show.”
The show is kind a twelve days festival and big names from TV shows and serials are participating in it. Rajeev Khandelwal and Shweta Gulati are also part of it.

Producer Boney Kapoor and director Satish Kaushik trying to complete their five year pending project Milenge Milenge. And now as they have recorded two new songs for the film, the lead pair of the film Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor is not willing to work together any more after their much publicized break up. The songs are composed by Himesh Reshammiya.
A source close to Bebo said, “Kareena is more than happy to extend all cooperation to producer Boney Kapoor and director Satish Kaushik, but she won’t shoot an extra songs for the film. Shahid is a closed chapter.”
Will the actors come together for film’s promotion? Kareena, Shahid will not come together for the film’s publicity. Meanwhile a music video on song recorded by Himesh was planed to promote the film, but as the actors have refused to work jointly the filmmakers will use the footage.

Bollywood biggie Mr. Amitabh Bachchan will turn 67 tomorrow. Mr. Bachchan will also complete 40 years in the film industry. On this occasion, some personalities from the film industry are busy preparing a tribute to him. Producers of his forthcoming film Rann, Sheetal Talwar and Madhu Mantena decided to make his birthday special so they have arranged a special event at 7 pm on the eve of his birthday. There will be forty actors sporting Big B’s memorable characters and mouthing famous dialogues from his film. Mr. Bachchan is invited for the event; meanwhile he doesn’t know that it is tribute to him. Instead he believes that it is something for the promotional event for the film Rann.
All the forty actors who are also fans of Mr. Bachchan are all excited to perform in front of him. Mr. Bachchan’s characters from films like Zanjeer, Sholay, Deewar, and Black are part of the tribute. However it will conclude with his political character from Sarkar.
Confirming it, co-producer Talwar said, “Mr. Bachchan’s 40-year-old journey in Hindi cinema is exceptional in every sense. He started his career with Saat Hindustani in 1969 and that’s where our staged homage begins.”
So bringing together 40 people must be tedious task? “It wasn’t difficult at all. All we did is spread the word about us planning a clones’ tribute to the superstar for his birthday. We were flooded with requests from dozens of artistes who wanted to play the characters in front of Mr. Bachchan. We sifted through the legion of applicants to shortlist the ones who fitted the bill,” said Talwar.
“Mr. Bachchan thinks we’re inviting him to an event related to Rann. He doesn’t know about the homage yet,” adds Sheetal.

Akshay to receive highest honor in martial arts

The Khiladi No. 1 of Bollywood Akshay Kumar will be honored with ‘Katana’ for his longtime association with the marital arts. It is considered as the highest honor amongst the Japanese. It is one of the Japanese traditions which the Samurai practices. Akshay’s long time association with the art has led him to receive the prestigious honor. Akshay has always portrayed the art through his film effectively, keeping the tradition alive.
The ceremony is held in Mumbai today and our Khiladi Kumar will be honored by ‘Katana’ as well as a sixth degree Black Belt in Kuyukai Gojuryu Karate. Neeru had previously appeared in some Punjabi movies and there after she did TV serial Guns and Roses. However she shook a leg with boyfriend Amit Sadh on the sets of Nach Baliye 2. However there were rumors that she and Amit got married secretly. Then after she only seen on January 26 at director Arif Sheikh’s wedding where Vivek also was present. Later also on July 11 at Kumar Taurani’s 50th birthday she was seen and Vivek this time too was present.
When asked to Neeru about this, she said, “I hope Vivek is still enamored by my beauty. He is a great co-star. I don’t know if there was any attraction, but I was very nervous because I was doing my first Hindi film. Vivek, Kookie and I are good friends; we hung out and got along awesomely.”
However she declared that she and Amit are not together now. “Amit and I parted ways long ago. We hadn’t married. Now, I stay in Andheri,” she admitted.

Bipasha enjoying comedies

Bipasha Basu’s comedy film All The Best is releasing this Diwali and with it the actress admits that she is enjoying comedies. Bips didn’t know before Dhoom 2 that she can do comedy so efficiently. She played a small comedy portion in the film. However she later did a full blown comedy in No Entry which was a big hit. And when she get one more chance (All The Best) to try her funny bone she said, “When I got a chance to then do Devgan Films’ All the Best that is coming to theatres this Diwali (October 16), I said to myself this is something I’m not going to miss out on.”
All The Best is primarily shot in Goa and the actress feels that the whole shooting schedule at Goa was like a picnic. The whole cast of the film was residing in the same hotel for a month. Talking about her experience over there, Bips says, “Ajay Devgan, Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan and I worked together; and worked out together at the gym.”
“We also bonded over cricket and swimming after pack up… and it was one big happy family atmosphere,” she adds.
Bips admits that she loved director Rohit Shetty’s previous comedies Golmaal and Golmaal Returns and now she believes that All The Best will also make people laugh and enjoy this festive season.
Talking about her co-stars from the film (Sanjay Dutt, Ajat Devgan, Fardeen Khan), she says, “All of them have tackled more comedy than I have in my career; so it was a cakewalk for them. However while shooting with them I realised that I can tickle a funny bone too.”
Bipasha is so excited about the comedies that she would like to do the sequels of No Entry or All The Best if ever made. However she admits that comedy role is difficult job. “Making people laugh is serious business,” says Bips.

Blue features death defying stunts from Akshay

We all know our khiladi number one Akshay Kumar performs his stunts on own and doesn’t bother to perform some death defying stunts. Such stunts or even more dangerous than ever we soon going to see with Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd’s Blue. Blue is most expensive film in Bollywood till date. And every star of it has added beauty to it by doing death defying stunts in it.
For instant Akshay had played with explosive fire in the depths of the oceans. For a particular scene explosion has to takes place over the water where the wild ocean wind could have make it more dangerous. 50 pounds of black powder, 100 gallons of propane in 40 mortars and 100 gallons of flammable liquid was used to make the explosion. Explaining about the making of scene, the underwater cinematographer, Pete Zuccarini said, “We wanted the fire from the blast to be large enough that it would appear impossible for Akshay to swim out from under it. James Bomalick, the action director, had his special effects crew make a line of mortar canons along the side of a large work boat; it reminded me of a pirate ship armed to wreak havoc!”
In that underwater fight scene, Akshay loses his oxygen tank and goggles too after his boat explode. He is trying to come up to surface through the explosion without goggles on his eyes. Recalling about the scene Pete says, “If something went wrong his only option would be to swim down towards the sea floor to his safety team to get more air. In training for the film Akshay had developed exceptional lung capacity, I was very confident that he could swim the full length of the fire blast to give us the great shot.”
Moreover to the dangerous situation, the team found debris from the explosion coming down to hurt the actor. The cinematographer managed to miss one of it who was also swimming underwater.
Pete said, “I started to see heavy objects falling around our actor and realised there was something wrong. The actual mortar canons, which weigh about 60 kilos, were falling in. It was quite surreal because the canons were splashing through the fire and twirling down upon us. We had to get everyone under the boat and guide Akshay. Everyone moved quickly, swam, turned, jerked, pushed, and pulled one another at just the right times to avoid contact with the hot heavy falling debris. Moments like this are both terrifying and exhilarating at the same time. I can only say that by the grace of powers greater than me no one was injured that day and we got the shot.”
Blue, the movie which promises breath taking performances from actors like Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Zayed Khan, Lara Dutta, Rahul Dev is releasing today. We will also have glimpse of Katrina Kaif in a special appearance.

Bollywood star Akshay Kumar honored in martial arts

Akshay Kumar, star of CHANDI CHOWK TO CHINA and dozens of other high-profile action movies in India, has been honored by the local martial arts community by receiving a ceremonial katana and six-degree black belt in karate.
“This day has been a longstanding dream. Karate, along with my father, has made me what I am today. Goju Ryu karate has been the longest love of my life,” said Akshay.
Akshay plans to give back to the art that helped him become a Bollywood action icon. “I came into the film industry knowing only martial arts. Now I am doing as much as I can in return,” he said, adding that he intends to open a karate school. “I wanted to start my own school long ago but never got a decent site. I need about three or four acres for the project.”
Akshay is still relatively unknown in the West despite the recent international release of his latest film, CHANDI CHOWK TO CHINA which Sony Pictures released in the U.S. earlier this year.
The handsome 42-year-old star has been a leading action star in India for nearly 20 years, despite broadening into other genres of late. Having entered the industry with previous experience as a karate instructor, he became known for performing his own daring stunts, most notably in the KHILADI film series where he had a reoccurring role as a James Bond-styled action hero.

World’s Largest Outdoor Theatre Returns For Second Run In Dubai

Step aside biker boy Jhon Abraham! Here comes Zayed Khan, and he is at least as much into riding his bikes as you are! We already told you that John Abraham considers himself 'practically married' to his motorcycles.
"I love motorcycles, I am married to them and I have had a honeymoon period with them. I don’t let anyone sit on my bikes or touch them," the "Dostana" star said not too long ago.
He even explained that girlfriend and Bollywood beauty Bipasha Basu! comes second best after his first love, his bikes. "Bipasha doesn’t like sitting behind me on bikes as I keep complaining about the bike getting scratched or damaged," John explained.
But when it comes to speeding, John is as careful as ever. "I have had many bike accidents and in a busy city one has to be very careful while riding. I use different helmets for different days as they are important for your safety," the "New Yourk" actor said.
So what about Zayed Khan, the latest biker boy in B-town? Does he like to speed on his motorcycles or is he an easy rider like John?

Well, well, well! Looks like B-town bad boy "Salman Khan" has a soft side after all! While filming a song for his latest movie "Main Aur Mrs Khanna" with Bollywood beauty "Kareena Kapoor" on the Phi Phi island in Thailand, Salman took very good care of his co-star and even saved her from falling in the water after hurting herself on some pebbles.
"Salman has always been very protective. He has been there for me whenever I needed him. That's partly to do with the fact that my sister Karisma is very close friends with Salman and also his favorite co-star," said Kareena of the "Wanted" star.
Director Prem Soni also recalls the special friendship between the two actors.
"Throughout the shooting you could see the special bonding that they had. But that day on the Phi Phi island it got really special. We came much further into the land from the sea than we imagined.When it was time to go back we realized we had to walk through the pebbled beach and wade into almost head-deep water before reaching our boat. We had to do it. Otherwise we'd have to spend the night on the beach without food or water. Kareena was in this long gown and barefoot. She was in pain. Before we knew it he swooped her into his arms and carried her into a boat. It was a very romantic-looking moment and we couldn't let it go."
Oh! How sweet! Who could have known that B-town's bad boy had a soft side? We like it!

Bollywood hunk "Jhon Abraham" says that he is married! What? How could we have missed the happy event? Desi Hits! met with John Abraham a few weeks ago at the Engendered Film Festival and we sure didn’t spot a ring on his finger! So who’s the lucky girl? Is it his longtime girlfriend "Bipasha Basu"? And when did they tie the knot?
Well, actually, there was no wedding ceremony. The ";Dostana" star reveals that he is just ‘married’ to his motorcycles!

B-town beauty "Sonam kapoor", who plays Aisha in the Bollywood remake of the Hollywood classic "Emma," recently spoke about her on-set cravings.
"We’re shooting nights currently. And there are no places to go to that late. I wish I could just go eat. I want to have some food," the actress complained, adding "I know my appearance on Farah Khan’s show has been talked about. And so has been my statement that Sanjay Leela Bhansali told me that I look like an Ajanta cave and that I shouldn’t lose my curves. But yeh Delhi hai mere yaar, I want to eat good food!"
Well now her co-star Abhay Deol is getting the munchies too!
But as opposed to his craving co-star, Abhay demands more than just any Delhi delicacy. The "Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!" star has decided to only eat food prepared by a special cook flown in from Mumbai! Abhay, who plays George Knightley, is apparently upset that Sonam’s hair and makeup costume cost more than his entire remuneration!

The stars in Rohit Shetty’s new comedy "All the Best: Fun Begins," "Bipasha Basu", Ajay Devgn and Mugdha Godse, all gathered at the MTV relaunch press meet at Taj Land’s End in Mumbai last night to talk about their new movie, which is set to hits theaters across India on October 16.
Bipasha Basu said that working with Ajay Devgn in a comedy was new and exciting!
"I have earlier acted opposite Ajay only in serious cinema. I am keeping my fingers crossed for the comedy flick opposite him. And it was also all laughs working with Rohit. When Rohit narrated the script I laughed continuously for two hours. So you can imagine how crackling it’s going to be if it’s so funny at the narrative level.
For "London Dreams" star Ajay Devgn, "All the Best" will definitely make audiences crack up!
"The movie is surely going to be a Diwali bash for the audience. It's clean with actual humor and can be full-time entertainment for any age group. The movie is funny, without any double-meaning dialogues."

Zayed Khan Promotes 'Blue'

Bollywood has been all abuzz about Anthony D'Souza’s new movie "blue" lately and soon the wait is over! The action flick is set to hit theaters in India on October 16. From the extreme stunts and the hot actors to the exotic locations and Kylie Minogue’s "Chiggy Wiggy" dance number, the film looks very promising.
Earlier today, Zayed Khan, who stars in the Anthony D'Souza directed project with other B-town big shots like Sanjay Dutt, Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty, Lara Dutta and Katrina Kaif, was at the JW Marriott hotel in Mumbai to promote the movie.
Zayed, also known for his role in Farah Khan’s "Main Hoon Na," had to follow a strict work out regime for his part in the action filled movie, and even took scuba diving lessons to keep up with the high-paced under water scenes! But he’s not the only actor in the film that needed physical preparation.
Lara Dutta recently revealed that she took swimming classes in order to overcome her fear of water.
"The moment I got to know of it, I called Akshay and told him that I wouldn't be able to accept the assignment. He knew the reason behind my decision. When I reminded Akshay I couldn't swim, he told me to forget my phobias and learn swimming pronto," said Lara.

"Luck by chance" star Hrithik Roshan, who recently bagged this year's India Youth Icon Award, took his wife Suzzanne to see the show. The happy couple matched in black outfits. Hrithik's "Luck By Chance" co-star, Sanjay Kapoor, brought his wife Maheep and daughter Shania and was seen walking the ramp for his wife's jewellery line. "Acid Factory" Dia Mirza showed up in a white and brown gold dress with matching purse and high heels, looking as cute as ever. "Wake Up Sid" producer Karan Johar, who launched his own clothing line not too long ago, sported a simple black jacket and black pants. Not too fashion for someone who just started their own brand in the business!
Someone who did do her best to look fashionable, but failed, was Akhshay Kumar's wife Twinkle Khanna. She twinkled alright, only not in a very glamorous manner. Donning a pink dress and a red clutch in the shape of lips with matching screaming red shoes, Twinkle made a very basic fashion faux pas. B-town hunk Zayed Khan, who came with his wife Mallika, almost beat Twinkle to the throne of weird outfits. He sported a pair of transparent yet orange glasses. Maybe his eyes were hurt from all those under water scenes in his new action flick "Blue."

B-town was all abuzz when this year’s India Youth Icon Awards ceremony took place earlier this week at the Leela Kempinski Hotel in Gurgaon near Delhi. Katrina Kaif and Farhan Akhtar also vied for the envied reward but it was "Kaminey" actress "Priyanka Chopra"and "Luck by Chance" star "Hrithik Roshan" who ended up bagging the prize for their excellence in the entertainment field.
The awards aim to reward outstanding achievement in business, sports, entertainment, media, social justice and welfare, as well as technology. And for a young yet established actress like Priyanka Chopra, this honor meant a lot.
"Youth icon is a huge word. Today's generation, my generation is a very impatient one. It wants everything fast and mediocrity doesn't work for this generation. They are quick to dismiss something that doesn't work for them. So to be a youth icon for this generation, which has very high standards, feels great," the "Dostana" star said.
The two Bollywood babes, who can now add ‘youth icon’ to their resume, have been busy attending international events and working on their next projects. Priyanka was last seen at the Toronto International Film Festival for the world premiere of her new movie "What’s Your Raashee?" And Hrithik is doing his best to gain weight for his upcoming role as a paraplegic in Sanjay Leela Bhansali new movie "Guzaarish."
But the two happy winners weren’t the only ones to bag a trophy!"Aishwarya Rai Bachchan" won the Global Face of the Year award, while "Deepika Padukone" took home the Fashion Icon of the Year award.

Well what do have here? Looks like "Abhishek Bachchan"and "Aishwarya Rai Bachchan" are back from the United States where they taped an episode of the popular U.S. talk program The Oprah Winfrey Show and talked about their marriage and careers.
The happy couple was spotted in Mumbai last night on their way to celebrate Karwa Chauth, a day on which many women, and sometimes men, fast and pray for the well-being and prosperity of their partner. While the religious tradition originated in northern India, it is today respected by Hindus all over the world. To show your love and devotion for your spouse, you are not supposed to eat or drink for a whole day, thus proving that you are ready to suffer for your loved one. During the day, a lot of women apply henna to look pretty for the breaking of the fast in the evening. Karwa Chauth is most commonly celebrated with family, at temple or at home.
While the photos don’t reveal whether Abhi and Ash were with their close ones on this religious day, we know that the pretty pair is all about family. In fact, during their interview with the queen of talk shows, Oprah Winfrey, Abhishek explained that they live with his mother and father, actress Jaya Bachchan and B-town big shot "Amitabh Bachchan", and that they always share a meal together whenever they are all in town. So we are sure that Karwa Chauth was yet another family affair!

'Aladin' Stars and Baskin Robbins Create Ice Cream Treats

Have you ever wondered what kind of ice cream Aladin, Jasmine and the Ringmaster from the movie "Aladin" would eat if they could choose any flavor? Well now you can find out thanks to international ice cream chain Baskin Robbins and Indian media studio Eros.
In a clever promotion stunt, Riteish Deshmukh, who plays Aladin in Sujoy Ghosh’s Bollywood remake of the classic movie, and Jacqueline Fernandez, who plays his bride Jasmine, were asked to create three new Baskin Robbins Aladin Ice Cream Flavors inspired by their characters in the comedy flick.
So what did the "Do Knot Disturb" star and former Miss Sri Lanka come up with?
Well, Aladin’s character was behind the creation of Choco 'aladin, a malt flavored ice cream swirled with a chocolate fudge ribbon and chocolate bits. Princess' Delite, a creamy vanilla ice cream loaded with chocolate coated nuts and swirled with a chocolate ribbon, was inspired by the beautiful Jasmine, while Ringmaster's Whip, well you guessed it, comes from Sanjay Dutt’s devilish character. The flavor combines chocolate ribbon and chocolate chips with chocolate ice cream.
Wow! Sounds like a tasty treat!

Speaking to a news daily, D’Souza maintained, “It is the first Bollywood film to be shot in the Bahamas” and added to that he chose Bahamas regardless of heavy expenses just because it was the world where one can shoot with live sharks. However, while the shoot continued in Bahamas, the budget shot up as food and drinking water had to be procured from Florida. But the maverick director is not bothered about the overhead expenses as he is elated over the fact that ‘Blue’ is India’s first under-water flick. D’Souza says that he is indebted to his producer Dhilin Mehta of Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd for having faith in his vision and providing him access to the best Hollywood technicians such as Amir Mokri (‘Bad Boy II’) to make a most exciting Bollywood flick.Talking about the actors of ‘Blue,’ D’Souza lavished praise for one and all as, “Sanjay Dutt was the first one who I gave a narration to — and he agreed almost immediately.
