Bruna Abdullah is all set to get into the shoes of Bollywood beauty Dia Mirza. She is going to do a lengthy cameo in the movie ‘I hate love storesi’ which is beindg directed by Puneeth. A few days back, Puneeth nnarted the cameo role to Dia and she readily accepted this offer.
But suddenly she called Puneeth and said that she cannot feature in this film due to personnel reason suddenly the “ Khatron Ke Khiladi” fame Bruna Abdullah was caonted for this role. Brunad readily accepted to do this cameo role. The raunchy beauty wheom never hesitates to feature less clothes is going to be paid a bomb for her cameo.
Bruna is said to be planning for some south Indian film roles as she has been approiached by few known directors from south. Hger daring acts in the “ Khatron Ke Khiladi” has exposed her to the Indian populace and so she is now a much recognized figure down south.
‘London Dreams’ has no realistic approach
London Dreams’ which was much hyped for being a multi starrer has finally hit the screens. But the movie has nothing much to explain in some scenes which are terrible and far away from reality.
Movie is about two good friends from Punjab who are extremely different from each other. Ajay Devgan has a passion for music and ropes in his friend Salman in to his music band of ‘London Dreams’. Then sallu steals Ajay’s honor and girlfriends Asin with his extra activities.
The movie has its screen play so low propelling and some scenes are presented in such a dull way as if they were from 18 century Europeans play settings. The songs are just hitting the average tag and the movie may sink to the bottom within no time.
The beautiful frames and some Paisa vasool moments are egged into the movie and only two songs are a bit catchy with the music.

Shilpa Shetty admires Big B
Actress Shilpa Shetty doesn’t wanna miss a single episode of Big Boss-3. Not merely because of her Bahan’s presence, but for the charismatic appeal of Amitabh Bacchan.
Big B has taken over the hat of hosting Big Boss from Shilpa Shetty, who had handled the task in the previous episode of this popular show. The actress cannot stop singing appraisals of Amitabh Bacchan as she says, “I missed Amitji a lot and much elated with his come back in small screens. He’s really doing a wonderful job and his unique style is unbeatable…”
Things have been getting more intact for the actress from the day, Season 3 has been launched. She doesn’t want to miss any segments as her younger sister Shamitha Shetty has been locked inside the Big Boss House for next 84 days with 12 strangers.

Recently, our Senior Bachchan saab had visited the Haji Ali dargah, then a temple, followed by a visit to a small dargah and finally to Siddhivinayak temple. Over this a mysterious person sent SMS to the actor on his mobile, threatening him not to do so here after. But Amitabh Bachchan is not a person to deter. On this, he blogged, “I am going to do it again, and shall continue to do it. And I want to see how you are going to stop me. If you have the courage and guts, come and get me.”
The “unknown element” even warned that Big B’s ‘Aladin’ will be a flop. While the actor wrote, “If the film has merit, no force on earth will be able to stop its worth. If the film is weak and does not have merit, no force on earth shall be able to make it a success.
At the cost of every film of mine failing, I am not going to change my routine.”
However, a day later the stranger seemed to have changed his way. He messaged Bachchan that the actor had misunderstood him and that he had no intention to hurt him or his sentiments. “He professed that after a visit to a dargah, it being a place of worship where those buried there were those that had passed away, there was an immediate need to take a bath to cleanse oneself before going to the temple,” the actor wrote about the stranger’s clarification.

Birthday gal Esha receives special gift
Esha Deol birthday falls today and the charming lass has received a Mahurat as a gift! Yes, her mummy dearest Hema Malini is hosting the event of her upcoming production, ‘Tell Me Oh Khuda’. Said the veteran actress “I guess this is the best birthday gift I could give Esha.”Besides ‘Tell Me Oh Khuda’, Hema has other two ventures in the plan for her daughter. While one movie will be directed by Deepa Sahi, the other one will be based on dance and music.
The shooting of ‘Tell Me Oh Khuda’ will be on roll from today and will cover the locales of Turkey,Goa, Mumbai and Rajasthan. As earlier said, the movie will have four eminent international cinematographers and the music will be handled by Pritam. The movie stars Esha, Arjan Bajwa, Rishi Kapoor, Vinod Khanna, Chandan Roy Saniyal, besides other well-known casts. Hema Malini rubbished the rumours of the movie being a remake of Meryl Streep’s Mamma Mia. For, she said that ‘Tell me…’ has four different stories with a common link line. But it is not even remotely connected to Mamma Mia. “Honestly, how can I even think of doing Mamma Mia. I’m not in the same league as Meryl Streep,” said Hema. The actress for the time being isn’t acting in the movie and only involved as a producer.
The beautiful mother, like any mother, is leaving no stones unturned to boost up her daughter’s career. “As a mother, I feel Esha hasn’t got her due and I definitely want the best for my child. Esha is young and I would like to fulfil her ambitions,” stated Hema.

Controversies
Controversies began surrounding Atif from the beginning of his solo career. Many of Atif's critics accused him of stealing songs from former band mate Gohar Mumtaz. Both Atif and Gohar laid claim on songs like "Aadat", "Dil Harey", "Woh Lamhey" and "Zindagi". Still noone knows whose creations actually these songs are.
"Hungaami Halaat"
The Bollywood style of music and videos in "Doorie" has diappointed many of Atif's fans in Pakistan who had been liking Atif for his "Jal Pari" style songs. About this Atif said "Touring internationally made me think that I should take my music global by releasing it worldwide. I collaborated with a lot of people and thought up a plan for a commercial album, which is not my type of music; which is not ATIF. I just wanted to explore that side of the music. When I composed and wrote these songs for Doorie, I kept in mind that this album has to be commercial". He also told that he would soon be releasing an album named "Hangami Halaat" which would be an original 'atif style' album. Regarding his videos he says "I think that was a requirement because the Indian audience can never accept my 'stupid' 'Mahi Vey' video or my 'stupid' 'Rangoun Mein' video. They have a different concept about a pop or a rock icon. He has to be a heart throb. Girls here can't sit on motor bikes, in India girls ride them. It's a different culture altogether. They (my Indian videos) are for an international audience."
"Doorie"
In December 2006, Atif Aslam released his much anticipated album called "Doorie" along with the video of the title song "Doorie" in India and Pakistan. Some of the songs in the album include "Hum kis galli", "Maula", "O re piya". The album was produced in collaboration with Indian lyricists and composers. A month later the video of "Hum kis galli" was released. Like the video of "Doorie", it was shot in India. The album is a huge hit in both countries, especially India.
Across The Border
Whilst the drama of lyrics & composition ownership continued in Pakistan, Bollywood director Mahesh Bhatt called Atif Aslam to seek his consent to include "Woh Lamhey" in the soundtrack of his new motion picture, Zeher (2005). The song (especially the remix version) became a hit & dominated airplay on almost all major FM stations throughout India for a period of 6-8 months. This pattern of a slow playback song by Atif in the movie, supplemented by a remix version released for radio airplay was to become standard procedure with Atif’s songs on the Indian market.He recorded a song for the movie Kalyug (2005), entitled Juda Hokey Bhi - a slight variation of the ever famous Aadat song. Like with “Wo Lamhey / Bheegi Yaadein”, a slow version became the theme for the movie and part of the official soundtrack, whilst a remixed version was released to hit the radio stations and desi clubs worldwide.After recording for Kalyug, an Irani director in Hollywood contacted Atif and within very little time, Atif recorded three songs for that same director’s Hollywood movie, Man Push Cart and was rewarded with a small cameo role in the movie.Atif re-emerged in the subcontinent with a new track, “Tere Bin” (translation: [Without You]) for the Bollywood Movie, Bas Ek Pal (2006). The song "Tere Bin" became a hit in India and Pakistan.
Solo career
"Jal Pari"
Atif Aslam, after leaving Jal, released a new solo album, Jal Pari (meaning "Mermaid") which was a big hit. Other than Aadat, 'Dil Harey', 'Woh Lamhey', 'Yakeen' became favourites of Pakistani music fans. Though his songs were liked by many, his first solo music video of 'Mahi ve' did not received much praise. On the other hand Jal, with their album "Aadat" and hit music video "Woh Lamhay" emerged as one of the top bands of Pakistan. As both the Jal, “Aadat”, and Atif’s album, Jalpari, shared certain tracks (such as “Aadat”, “Wo Lamhey”, “Dil Harey”) an unofficial war over rights began which resulted in both sides claiming to possess hard proof to support their respective claims (that, they alone owned the concerned songs). The hype this feud gave to both Atif and the new Jal was extraordinary and split the musical nation with the fans of each side backing their respective favourite.
Jal The Band
Aslam kept winning these competitions every semester until he announced that he would not participate in future competitions so that someone else could also win. He found Goher Mumtaz, a talented guitarist, at this time. Together, they started doing mini concerts for their friends. Atif used to primarily sing songs from Junoon and Strings song at these concerts. The size of the audiences kept on increasing. They performed concerts for their college, McDonalds and some other restaurants as well. Atif recorded the legendary song Aadat at Mekal Hassan’s Studio. Mekal injected his professionalism in the song to make it worth listening time after time. Atif formed the band and named the band as Jal, which means water, the essence of life. The song got popularity on the different musical websites on Pakistan. . The song was also played on such Pakistani radio stations as FM100 and FM105. The music video for Aadat was shot one day in a warehouse in Karachi. Soon it came out to be a super hit, topping the Pakistani music charts. On the base of this one song, “Jal” began their tour of Pakistan—such was the strength of “Aadat”. However, whilst on tour, personal problems led to a verbal bust-up resulting in an unannounced and indefinite hiatus, during which Atif launched his solo career.
Start of Musical Career
The twist in the story comes when one day he was singing with his friends at the college canteen. His friends insisted him to participate in the singing on Independence Day celebrations at PAF College Lahore and Sargodha in 1998. He performed there and won the competition. After HSc, Atif Joined Punjab Institute of Computer Science Gulberg Campus. This time studies were much more demanding as compared to the previous ones. He was forced to sacrifice his time playing cricket in order to do well in school. However, his hobby of singing continued when he entered in the singing competition of his college, where there were a total of 8 participants. The media team entered Atif’s name in the competition at the eleventh hour and he won the competition singing a hit number of Pakistani band Strings' Duur.
EARLY LIFE
Atif’s kindergarten started in Model town Lahore at Kimberley Hall School. His first stage manifestation was in a fancy dress show at his school when he was in grade 1 where he performed as Imran Khan, the former captain of Pakistan's national cricket team. Since then cricket was like a passion to him. He was never tired of playing cricket for hours in his car porch whether it is scorching sun outside or even raining. At that time he was not used to listen any kind of songs. At the age of 9 in 1991 he was shifted to Rawalpindi/Islamabad where he continued his studies in Saint Paul's School. He started playing Basketball and he use to lead his school team for various matches. Atif came back to Lahore in 1995 where he continued his studies in Divisional Public School Model Town. For his immense passion for cricket he was selected in his school team as a fast bowler. Atif cleared his 10th grade in 14 years of age with a distinctive edge that he has always been the youngest boy in the class because of his double promotions while he was in Kimberley Hall. Atif started his HSc in PAF College Lahore. He was in his college team as well where he presented his college in other cities. Beside his studies he was putting his maximum time in practicing for the professional cricket. During his college life he come across with some interest in music. He attended Punjab Institute of Computer Science (PICS) to do his Bachelors in Computer Science (BCS). Bollywood Actor Shiney Ahuja Reaches Delhi after Bail
NEW DELHI: Bollywood actor Shiney Ahuja arrived here from Mumbai Sunday morning after spending 110 days in jail for allegedly raping his domestic help. He was granted bail ThursdayThe actor, accompanied by his wife Anupam, arrived at the New Delhi domestic airport aboard a Kingfisher flight No.303 Sunday at about 11.30 a.m. Shiney’s parents were also there.“He left for Delhi by Kingfisher flight at around 7 a.m.. He will be coming back to Mumbai for the court hearing on Oct 7,” Shiney’s lawyer Shrikant Shivade told media.The actor was granted bail Thursday on a surety of Rs.50,000 by the Bombay High Court in the rape case and was released from the Arthur Road Jail Saturday.Strict conditions have been imposed on the actor by Justice A.P. Deshpande, who has ordered Shiney to live outside Mumbai, but not leave India till his trial begins in a fast-track court in Mumbai.Shiney was arrested June 14 for allegedly raping his teenaged domestic help at his Andheri (West) home. He was in custody since then.If the charges against him are proved in court, Shiney faces a seven-year jail sentence. His wife Anupam and his lawyer have maintained that he is innocent and is being framed

Bipasha Basu says she had loads of fun shooting for All the Best and lets slip that her co- star, Ajay Devgn, is a prankster to the core. Ajay didn’t pull pranks on the actors. Instead, he trained his guns on the poor crew. Becoming a producer surely hasn’t sobered him down one bit, and he kept the practical jokes coming as usual, Bipasha says, cheekily adding that she can speak freely about Ajay now that her cheque has been cleared.
Ajay is a great actor and he keeps it so simple. Also, he is a fantastic producer and has taken care of his actors and unit really well. Celina Jaitley’s brush with death
Celina Jaitley is one lucky girl.The actress had a brush with death on a shoot in the Maldives for her southern film Sreemati, opposite superstar Upendra. It was the camera assistant whose quick thinking and deft action saved her. Recalling the incident, Celina says, ” I escaped a severe injury by falling into the rocky sea from a great height.
The camera buggy was supposed to go past me while I was standing near an outcrop. But it swung out of control and I toppled, barely managing to grab a buggy rung. I lost my grip on that too but camera assistant Ram Gopal Mishra grabbed me and saved me.” All of this happened in just a few seconds and it was Celina’s good fortune and the camera assistant’s sheer presence of mind that saved the actress.

First it was to feature Amitabh Bachchan and Sanjay Dutt in a mentor-protegee plot set in Canada to be directed by Apoorva Lakhia.Then the producer decided to let his brother Jaspreet Walia direct the film. Sanjay Dutt was relocated into the Big B’s role while Abhishek Bachchan shifted into Dutt’s role.Now one hears that Dutt is no more interested in doing Just Punjabi.”
After the long and taxing experience Sanjay Dutt had over Lamhaa, he wants to take a long break from Bunty Walia’s projects.Next year Mr. Dutt’s schedule is choc-a-bloc. Box Office Collections for ‘Blue’, ‘All the best’ and ‘MAMK’
There appears to be a surprise result developing this Diwali as Rohit Shetty’s Ajay Devgan produced and starrer, All the Best in many single screens has taken the Diwali lead over Akshay Kumar’s mammoth budget Blue as well Salman Khan’s home production Mr. aur Mrs. Khanna starring Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor along with Sohail Khan.
The opening for Blue on Friday morning was in the range of 50-60%, while All the Best was around 60-70% and MAMK last at 25-30%, though with volumes of screenings being higher for Blue means the opening day collections for the Akshay Kumar starrer were the highest of the films running. However the film’s cost and budget demanded a far bigger opening than what it has witnessed and given the reports are said to be mixed, it’s a wait-and-see situation for this action adventure venture.

John brought traffic to halt in London
John Abraham brought the traffic to halt at the London’s iconic bridges Tower Bridge and London Bridge for the shooting of Abbas Tyrewala’s upcoming film 1-800-Love. John did the miracle which even the Hollywood biggies couldn’t do. Earlier Hollywood films like National Treasure and Bourne Ultimatum didn’t get permission to shoot at those locations, except the film The Mummy which received permission to shoot for one night only. However Abbas managed to get the permission to shoot for four nights. Moreover boat traffic had given halt to the River Thames for one night. Both the iconic bridges cross the river. John along with the film unit of seven cameras absolutely owned the grand place for some time.
Talking about the experience, John said, “I was reminded regularly for two months that the Tower Bridge would be blocked off, but that night, as the clock struck 9.30 pm, and four police bikes escorted my car on to the middle of the bridge, I was over awed! The grandeur of virtually own one of London’s greatest landmarks - what an experience!”

Salman’s generosity cannot be matched’ - says Kareena
Many people in the industry often talk about Salman Khan’s big heart and generosity. However this time the lovely Kareena Kapoor has all praises for him.
Kareena experienced the kindness of her co-star during the shooting schedule of Main Aurr Mrs Khanna in Melbourne. Both the actors are friends and were always seen cracking jokes and laughing on the sets of the film. During their stay in Melbourne, Bebo used to go for shopping when shooting for the day is done. One day when she went for shopping, Salman accompanied her. At one store, when Kareena was headed to pay the bills after picking things for her, family, and friends, she was surprised to know that it’s already paid.
Finding Salman smiling wide, Kareena found who has made the sweet gesture to her. Salman also gifted a rare bag worth Rs 2.5 lakh to her, which she has sported in the film too.

Talking about his plan of the film, Himesh said, “I requested Ravi to go in for a very different release strategy as the film has been made for a target audience. The theatrical release will be in sync with the sensibilities with which Radio has been made. It has been treated with a very fresh approach and that’s what makes it very different or else, it’s a very simple love triangle set in 2009 with the backdrop of a radio station and an RJ as the protagonist.”
No doubt Himesh has become a wealthy musician in recent times due to his creativity and business strategy. Even though he had fights with Asha Bhosle on the popular singing show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, what he talks has point. His talks do not include a single wasting word. Preity becomes a host
According to sources, the bubbly actress Preity Zinta has signed in to host a chat show named The Preity Zinta Show. The show will be aired weekly on television. For 20 episodes of the show, the actress has charged a whopping amount of Rs 10 crore. On the show you will find Preity interviewing celebrities. The show is supposed to go on air in mid-December.
One source said, “The show is called as The Preity Zinta Show and she has been paid a whopping amount of Rs 10 crore for 20 episodes. The deal was finalised last week when the channels officials met her in Los Angeles where she is currently. Preity is quite excited about her television debut. However everything about the deal is hush hush right now and no one is allowed to talk about it.”

Urvashi signed an international flick
Now a day actress Urvashi Sharma is all excited about signing an international flick, but she tells that she is not comfortable with the nude scene which the script of the film demands. The film is titled as Bounty Hunter. No, it’s not the same film starring Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler. It’s a different project and is sponsored by the UK Film Council.
“I’m excited as I’m the only Indian girl in the film. I’m going to London this month to finalise things,” says Urvashi.
Her films till date didn’t create much hoopla, but the actress is looking forward to year 2010 with hope. Today she is free from the contract with the production house which was not allowing her to sign films from other banners. Meanwhile, there was buzz about her friction with the Aap Ke Liye Hum team. The director of the film Revathy Varmha was claming that Urvashi has thrown out from the film because of her bad behavior. However the actress says that she left the project when she got post-dated cheques that bounced.
Talking about the tiff Urvashi said, “I tried to contact the producer for two months after I found out the cheque has bounced, but I couldn’t get through. That’s highly unprofessional.”
Revathy also claimed that Urvashi is so hungry for publicity that she agreed to do a bikini act for the project. Clarifying it, the actress replied, “I’m not the one who leaked this information. I kept quiet about this issue for two months. In fact, it’s quite embarrassing for an actor to go through something like this.”
Then what about the nude scene for Bounty Hunter? “We need to figure out how it will be done or whether it needs to be done at all. I’m an Indian girl, and in the film I play an Indian girl with Indian values. I wouldn’t be comfortable doing a nude scene,” tells the actress.

Bipasha’s unprofessional act

Bipasha Basu opted out at a last minute from a Diwali special show for a television channel, when she learnt that there is no other cine star making appearance on the show. She was supposed to perform on the Diwali special named Diwali Mela Dilon Ka to promote her upcoming film All the Best. Ajay Devgan, her co-star from All The Best and also the director Rohit Shetty were part of the program, but only Bipasha had to perform. So the actress ditched the show.
A source from channel said, “Everything was set for the Diwali special, scripts were ready and the sets were done too. And although she had agreed initially, Bipasha changed her mind in the end. She felt that an actress of her calibre was only meant for the silver screen, and TV was only for those who were insecure about their career in Bollywood.”
On the other hand, Bips says, “I have never heard about this show.”
The show is kind a twelve days festival and big names from TV shows and serials are participating in it. Rajeev Khandelwal and Shweta Gulati are also part of it.

Producer Boney Kapoor and director Satish Kaushik trying to complete their five year pending project Milenge Milenge. And now as they have recorded two new songs for the film, the lead pair of the film Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor is not willing to work together any more after their much publicized break up. The songs are composed by Himesh Reshammiya.
A source close to Bebo said, “Kareena is more than happy to extend all cooperation to producer Boney Kapoor and director Satish Kaushik, but she won’t shoot an extra songs for the film. Shahid is a closed chapter.”

40 Actors to pay homage to Big B before his birthday tomorrow
Bollywood biggie Mr. Amitabh Bachchan will turn 67 tomorrow. Mr. Bachchan will also complete 40 years in the film industry. On this occasion, some personalities from the film industry are busy preparing a tribute to him. Producers of his forthcoming film Rann, Sheetal Talwar and Madhu Mantena decided to make his birthday special so they have arranged a special event at 7 pm on the eve of his birthday. There will be forty actors sporting Big B’s memorable characters and mouthing famous dialogues from his film. Mr. Bachchan is invited for the event; meanwhile he doesn’t know that it is tribute to him. Instead he believes that it is something for the promotional event for the film Rann.
All the forty actors who are also fans of Mr. Bachchan are all excited to perform in front of him. Mr. Bachchan’s characters from films like Zanjeer, Sholay, Deewar, and Black are part of the tribute. However it will conclude with his political character from Sarkar.
Confirming it, co-producer Talwar said, “Mr. Bachchan’s 40-year-old journey in Hindi cinema is exceptional in every sense. He started his career with Saat Hindustani in 1969 and that’s where our staged homage begins.”
